About Grantee

Bethany House Services provides comprehensive family-centered homelessness services, all of which are provided by staff trained in trauma-informed care and focused on empowering families to reach self-sufficiency. Their holistic services — including prevention of homelessness, emergency shelter, housing programs, comprehensive case management, post shelter support, and permanent affordable rental housing — address a family’s current needs and seek to prevent repeat episodes of homelessness. Serving 60% of the families experiencing homelessness and 66% of the children in our community, Bethany House has a life-changing impact on thousands of homeless parents and children every year.

What We Funded

Millstone Fund contributed to the funding of the new fitness center at Bethany House Services. As Bethany House moved into a new state of the art facility, leaders knew they could better serve families if they could provide the opportunity to maintain healthy habits. Millstone Fund values their mission to empower homeless and at-risk families by providing them with housing stability and a place to call home.
